# Change email account password

1. Log in to the [Webmail platform](https://mail.b.hostedemail.com/).

2. Once logged in, click on **Settings **on the left side panel.

3. Then click on **Password, **then **Change Password**

4. Enter your current password followed by the new password twice. Once Saved, your new password will take effect immediately. Note that any email applications you have on your computer or phone will need to be updated with the new password.

Note: to ensure you do not get locked out of your account if you forget your password, you should be sure you have [Enable Password Recovery](https://webpilot.helpdocsite.com/email/enable-password-recovery).
