The abundance of cheap, do-it-yourself tools promising great results with little to no effort has created a false sense of hope for tons of busy business owners. The sales pitch is that the tools are so easy to use that anyone can just plug them in and get rich.
The problem is that, as with any technology, it’s not about whether you can use it, it’s whether you can use it effectively that matters. Anyone can make noise come out of a piano, few can make music.
This is no different for marketing your business online. With so much competition for consumers’ attention, finding and reaching them through all the noise is not quite as simple as you were led to believe.
In reality, the only easy thing about digital marketing is burning through your time and money if you don’t know what you are doing.
